About
St Cystennin has a long history and it is suggested that there was a church on this site from 338AD, and it was dedicated to one of the Roman Emperors Constantine. However we know that there was a chapel on the site from around 1180 when the Monks came to Conwy, the first real church was built in the great era of church building in North Wales around 1480.
