We want everyone to enjoy visiting Conwy County, so please remember to do the small things that will help protect yourself, other people, our communities, and the environment.
Stay safe on the coast
We all love a visit to the beach and so to help ensure that you enjoy our beautiful coastline safely, please check the local weather conditions and be aware of any local safety warnings about potential hazards. A friendly reminder from the local RNLI:
- before you head out, make sure to check the local weather conditions
- check the tide tables
- make sure your equipment is in excellent working order
- while you are out, be aware of your surroundings and the tide's direction
- be aware of the warning signs especially on the West Shore beach in Llandudno
- carry a fully charged mobile phone
- take a look at these two videos for more advice from the RNLI

Eating outdoors
Please don’t feed the seagulls. Seagulls are natural scavengers and can become aggressive when they try to steal food from hands or plates.
