You can go to all of the area’s top attractions with your four legged friend. There are a variety of attractions, hotels and cafes in the area which welcome dogs all year round. Plus, dog restrictions on beaches throughout the county are lifted between October and April, so you can both enjoy seaside strolls throughout Autumn, Winter and Spring.
Where to go with your four legged friends
Take a trip to Llandudno and travel up the Great Orme. You can get to the top by enjoying a walk with your pooch on one of the paths to the summit, or save your energy by riding to the top by tram. Dogs are welcome on the tram for a small fee of just £1. Once at the summit, head to the Great Orme Mines and explore the 3,500 year old tunnels.
After you’ve explored the Great Orme, head back to the town and go to The King’s Head to enjoy a bite to eat. It’s the oldest pub in Llandudno and dogs are welcome in the uncarpeted area of the pub.
For a totally unique experience for you and your pooch, head to Pet Place in Abergele where your four legged friends can run around the dog park, watch a film at the dog cinema and enjoy lots of goodies from the on-site shop!
