About

Brought to you by Welsh Water, Llyn Brenig is a hub for health and wellbeing. A great place to visit to escape the crowds, enjoy taking deep breaths of fresh Welsh air as you walk, cycle, fish, eat, and admire the views.

We are fortunate to have returning ospreys who nest at Llyn Brenig every year, along with being a haven for wildlife such as pine martens, red squirrels and sand martins.

Caffi Brenig offers a delicious breakfast and lunch menu using locally sourced produce.

Visitors will be impressed with the gift shop and Welsh food & drink produce selection.

Santa's Magical Christmas Light Trail & Grotto

This Christmas, join us at Llyn Brenig for a very special family treat.

A magical trail of lights leads to Santa’s Grotto where children will meet Santa and talk to him about their Christmas dreams and wishes before receiving a gift.

There are lots of crafts to do along the way with colouring in, make a Christmas card and decoration.

£10 per child.

Caffi Brenig will be open, serving a takeaway style menu including hot food.

Opening Times

* Weather permitting, Llyn Brenig is open daily. Summer opening hours: Mid-March to October 8am to 4pm (gates close 5pm). Winter opening hours: November to mid-March 9am to 3pm (gates close 4pm). Please note we are closed for Christmas on 25 and 26 December.

FREE ENTRY. Car park free for 60 mins, £3 all day thereafter.
