About

Llandudno Museum & Gallery is multi period museum run by a charitable trust.

The Museum has six permanent galleries telling the stories of Llandudno's past including the earliest inhabitants, to the creation of the Victorian resort, and its place as a safe haven during the Second World War.

Discover when Llandudno held the Olympic Festival twice, where were double agents to be housed in WW2, and the early conservationists campaigning to save the Peregrine falcon.

For families there are children's trails, quizzes, a Punch & Judy theatre to put on their own shows, and regular seasonal and themed activities.

The Museum puts on a series of regular walks covering the town's heritage, a special Drain Spotting walk looking at Victorian infrastructure and an Old Town walk looking at Llandudno before the resort. During the spring and summer we run biodiversity walks looking at Llandudno's flora.

The Museum has a shop stocking unique welsh gifts and is free to enter as is our Biodiversity garden.

Tickets can be booked on our website by using the tickets tab on the home page or at the museum reception. Reservations can be made by email or phone.

Information regarding up coming events can be found in their what's on or by visiting their Facebook page.

General enquiries can be made by either calling 01492 701490 or by e-mailing info@llandudnomuseum.co.uk.
