The name Min y Don translates from Welsh to mean 'at the edge of the waves', perfectly describing the guest house’s location on Llandudno's famous North Shore. Situated a mere pebble's throw from the crescent bay, opposite the Victorian Pier entrance and at the foot of the Great Orme with easy access to both the Great Orme Tramway, Happy Valley Gardens and Llandudno Cable Car. A great base from which to enjoy Llandudno's scenery, walks and attractions.

Min y Don has operated as a hotel/guest house for many decades. Under new ownership since the Autumn of 2018, your hosts Teresa and Rheinallt fell in love with the location, seeing a fantastic opportunity to provide excellent quality accommodation with unrivalled views for the discerning traveller at a reasonable price. As experienced guest house owners and seasoned travellers, both appreciate the value of good quality accommodation, provision of excellent breakfast and, of course, a traditional "Welsh" welcome. 

They apply exactly the same standards as they would expect to receive - not stuffy - just comfortable, friendly and wherever possible with that little "extra" touch of luxury and thoughtfulness that even the best 5 Star accommodations simply cannot provide. A program of refurbishment is underway to make Min y Don "top in class", taking full advantage of the wonderful location that offers spectacular views over North Shore.

Min y Don offers limited on-site parking, free high speed Wi-Fi throughout and large screen Smart TVs in every room. Each room has private en-suites with good quality toiletries, together with the usual tea/coffee making facilities. Guest rooms are located over three floors and are accessed through our central stairway. Please note - Min y Don has no lift access to upper floors. We regretfully cannot accept guest pets.
