About

A circular route of approximately 20km mainly on country lanes, but with some sections on rough roads and off road via woodland paths.

The route starts from the Pensarn Beach car park and then west continues via the A548; turn left onto the A547; as you pass the Golf Club turn right onto St George Road; continue until you see a row of static caravans on the left and turn left here onto a rough road and through the farm yard. Turn right at Tan Y Gopa Road and left at the 2nd fork; right onto Llanfair Road, A548, then an immediate left into Abergele Chest Hospital. The track then leads through the woods. Turn left as you come out of the woods and keep right at the fork until you reach the main road, B5381, and turn left here then next left again. A sharp right at Fardre Farm takes you along a quiet road to a gate house. Turn left here, and follow the steep drop into the village of St George. The road from the pub takes you straight to Abergele past the quarry where Pensarn is signposted from the traffic lights.
