About

St Michael's Church is located between the railway line and the River Conwy on the edge of Betws-y-Coed.

Built in the 14th Century, St Michael's is the oldest building in Betws-y-Coed. The church houses the fine stone effigy of Gruffydd ap Dafydd Goch, a Norman font, and many interesting features. Displays in the church tell its history, and the church yard with its majestic yew trees makes a tranquil resting place.

Street side parking is available on Old Church Road. Access is via gravel paths through the church yard. There are three steps down into the church. A movable ramp is available.
